Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: August 27, 2026

MCR Carpentry & Contracting appreciates the opportunity to work with our customers. Because our projects require careful scheduling, coordination, materials, and preparation, we ask that you review the following cancellation and rescheduling policy.

Consultations and Estimates

If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation or estimate appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.

Providing advance notice allows our team to adjust our schedule and accommodate other customers.

Scheduled Projects and Services

If you need to cancel or reschedule scheduled carpentry, construction, renovation, or other project-related work, please contact us as soon as possible.

Because projects may require advance scheduling, material ordering, subcontractor coordination, or other preparations, cancellations or significant schedule changes may be subject to the terms outlined in your individual estimate, proposal, or project agreement.

Deposits and Special-Order Materials

If a deposit has been made or materials have already been purchased or specially ordered for your project, cancellation terms may vary depending on the circumstances.

Deposits, custom materials, special-order products, or costs already incurred on behalf of the customer may be non-refundable when specified in the applicable estimate, proposal, contract, or project agreement.

Weather Conditions

Certain construction and renovation work may be affected by weather conditions. For the safety of our team and to maintain the quality of our work, projects may be delayed or rescheduled due to severe weather or unsafe working conditions.

If weather affects your scheduled project, we will communicate with you regarding any necessary scheduling changes.

Project Delays

Occasionally, circumstances outside of our reasonable control may require adjustments to a project’s schedule. These may include:

  • Material or product availability
  • Supplier or shipping delays
  • Severe weather
  • Site conditions discovered during the project
  • Changes to the agreed-upon scope of work
  • Permit or inspection delays
  • Other unforeseen circumstances

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate scheduling changes and keep you informed throughout your project.

Customer-Requested Project Changes

Changes to the scope, materials, design, or schedule of a project after work has been approved may affect the project’s cost and completion timeline.

Any significant changes may require an updated estimate, change order, or revised project schedule before additional work can proceed.

Questions or Cancellations

If you need to cancel, reschedule, or make changes to an upcoming appointment or project, please contact us as soon as possible.
